Even today, these books remain essential and meaningful. They are central to the religious experience of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. This richly illustrated catalog explores the form, content, use, and study of the Tanakh, the Bible, and the Quran. Using 45 unique objects -15 from each tradition -special manuscripts, historical editions, and printings are displayed and discussed.
