This is a three-part detailed Atlas of the Moon. It consists of 1) Preliminary, 2) Maps, and 3) Index. The Preliminary sections deal with the science of Moon study including lunar influence on the Earth, the Moon's phases and it's orbit. Also the science of the Moon's landscape and techniques of Lunar flight. The Index lists the landscape features with their map numbers and latitudinal and longitudinal co-ordinates. The amazing features of the Atlas are the complete and accurate maps drawn by using photographs from Orbiter and Russian Zond. These include mapping of the Far Side of the Moon. Also included are photographs of space vehicles, diagrams and close topographical photographs of craters, mountains and valleys and other lunar landscapes. 37 pages of introductory explanations, photographs and index. 110 pages (thus 55 maps each being over a double page) of lunar maps, each with grid reference.
